Here’s a bit of what I got up to in my role as creative lead at Trainline. From big ideas and top-level brand strategy to translating kilograms from CO2 into dolphins.

I had the pleasure of co-managing the in-house creative studio with my indomitable producer Rich, while line managing five wonderful and talented designers based in London, Paris, and Milan. Occasionally I did some design work myself creating growth marketing assets for our hardest hitting channels.

With trains being 67% less polluting than cars. Choosing to swap a journey from car or plane to rail is one of the greatest impacts that we can have. That makes every passenger a climate hero.

When briefed to do a Trainline ‘wrapped’ to bring people’s attention to the sustainability data feature in the Trainline App - we knew we would have to try a knowing take, blending real data and silly factoids - bridging the gap between acknowledging the cliché while trying to build a genuine sense of pride among train travellers for reducing the environmental impact of their journey (even if they didn’t realise it).

Branding and art direction for Super Routes,

a mini product feature highlighing train routes that are faster, cheaper, and greener than driving.
